The old cliche line of photography being my ‘passion’ is not far from the truth. Having studied and worked in the industry for the past 14 years I’ve seen styles and trends come and go but one thing remains the same, the connections between the people I photograph are genuine, emotive and joyful.  This is what I love most!

I started out as a one-lady-band until my husband Wes started helping me at weddings, mostly holding my gear and driving from location to location, making sure I pretty much just didn’t get lost. Ha! He then picked up a camera and began second shooting to become a camera wielding duo.  From then I knew that the business had an edge by having two photographers capture a wedding and that was when Two Tell A Tale was established.

Fast forward to the present day, I now have a fabulous team of skilled photographers to help document our couples day of days. We all love capturing emotions and interactions, this being our main focus and to portray it as it happened, how it happened. Our photography is mostly of a ‘photo-journalistic’ approach, using natural light for 95 percent of the day and allowing the light to paint the features that tell the story of whats transpiring.

Wedding days are often the beginning of the cycle of life. It brings me a lot of happiness to document new and growing families and still be present in our couples lives, bringing me closer to them and developing friendships that last a lifetime.

With my country upbringing, I have a deep love for natural landscapes, laid back people, lazy sunny days and animals – especially dogs!, these all help me to observe and read a day, tell its story and give you an end product you can’t wait to show friends and families for years and years to come.

I’m always keen for a chat about your day, discuss what we bring to the table whilst enjoying a coffee, tea, brew or vino. Hit up the contact page and say hi!

Cheers, Fiona x
